<div class="Body"><a name="1149155">The 3ware RAID controller was not able to commit data to the drive(s) during </a>a caching operation.This is due to a serious drive failure, possibly from a power outage.</div>

<div class="Heading4"><a name="1073627">Background Information</a></div>
|
|
<div class="Body"><a name="1149135">The 3ware RAID controller uses caching layer firmware to improve </a>performance. For write commands this means that the controller acknowledges it has completed a write operation before the data is committed to disk. If the 3ware RAID controller cannot commit the data to the drive after it has acknowledged to the host, this message is posted.</div>
