<div class="Body"><a name="1148957">This Drive Details window shows some Extra Drive Information, including </a>Queuing and SATA Link Speed support, and the SMART data for SATA drives. SMART data is not displayed for SAS drives.</div>
<div class="Heading3"><a name="1148888">Extra Drive Information </a></div>
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1461748">Drive Type. </a></span>The type of drive: SAS or SATA.</div>
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1461749">Serial #. </a></span>The serial number of the drive.</div>
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1461854">Firmware. </a></span>The firmware version of the drive.</div>
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1461855">Drive Ports. </a></span>The number of physical ports on the drive.</div>
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1461856">Drive Connections. </a></span>The number of connections made to the drive ports.</div>
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1461857">Interface Type.</a></span> The drive interface, direct or expander.</div>
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1461754">SAS WWN. </a></span>The SAS drives unique World Wide Number.</div>
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1461755">Reallocated Sectors. </a></span>The number of sectors that have been re-allocated due to bad sectors on the drive.</div>
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1461756">Power On Hour. </a></span>The total number of hours the drive has been powered-on.</div>
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1461757">Drive Temperature.</a></span><span class="NoteHeading"> </span>The temperature of the drive.</div>
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1461746">Spindle Speed</a></span>. The drive speed in RPM.</div>
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1470923">Queuing Supported</a></span> and <span class="NoteHeading">Queuing Enabled.</span></div>
<div class="Body"><a name="1625117">(Not applicable to SAS drives, only applicable to SATA drives that support </a>NCQ) SATA-2 drives support NCQ (Native Command Queuing), which can result in increased performance for some applications, usually server-type applications. In order to make use of Native Command Queuing, the feature must be enabled at both the drive and the controller. Not all drives support queuing.</div>
<div class="Body"><a name="1470924">The queuing values in this window indicate whether the feature is supported </a>and enabled at the drive. At the controller level, queuing is enabled or disabled for all drives in a unit on the Controller Settings page.</div>
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1470868">Link Supported </a></span>and<span class="NoteHeading"> Link Enabled. </span>These fields show the fastest link speed that the disk drive supports and the current link speed.</div>
<div class="Heading3"><a name="1148919">SMART Data</a></div>
<div class="Body"><a name="1148870">SMART data is displayed as hex values.</a></div>
<div class="Body"><a name="1088413">Consult your disk drive manufacturer for information on how to interpret the </a>SMART data. The SMART data meaning varies by disk drive manufacturer and model.</div>
<div class="Body"><a name="1471982">SMART data is not presently displayed for SAS drives.</a></div>
