ok seltsam sieht aber danach aus das der wget probleme hat beim dwonlaod der iplocation downlaoder.
error 4@4 bedautet zeil4 bei zeichen4 und das ist ip2loacion/install-v6.sh

Ja das System hat kein IPv6 da es nur IPv4 hat, daher ist IPv6 komplett abgeschaltet.
Wann man da was machen?
ne das v6 hat nichts mit ipv6 zu tun. das ist nur die verison des scripts.
ich werd das script jetzt mal wider auf ner vm austesten ob sich was bei den quellen geändert hat
gibt es ein problem mit dns oder ip block bei dir den das script läuft one probleme bei mir durch.
auch der download des ip2location donloaders
Okay nach deinem Hit habe ich das Problem gefunden, es war mein Pi-Hole das den Download blockierte, warum das auf der Blacklist ist und blockiert wird ist mir ein Rätsel. Danke für deine Zeit und den tollen Support nichts desto trotz wäre es gut bessere Fehlermeldungen zu bekommen für eine spätere Version des Script, so dass man auch selber suchen kann.
jep ein besserens loggin steht auf der todo liste bin noch auf der siche nach einer guten bash funktion die das dann handelt.
hab logging für das nächste große uupdate eingebaut.

Ich habe so eben festgestellt, dass dein Script nicht mit Ubuntu 24.04 umgehen kann. Es bricht ab bei überprüfen der OS Releases, um die abhänikeiten der zusätzlichen Pakete aufzulösen.

Kannst Du bitte schauen, dass dein Script auch mit noble respektive trixie umgehen kann. Debian Trixie ist aktuell der Unstable Release von Debian.

das debian trixie kann ich einbauen aber ubuntu ist eher ein kompletter rewrite des scripts.
Dann muss ich auf das ReWrite warten, ich werde einfach nicht warm mit Debian und bin auf Ubuntu zurück gewechselt.

nächste woche bin ich wider im lande dann kann ich mir mal widerwillig eine ubuntu vm installieren. ahhhh
