<p>This is a Tcl wrapper procedure for the creating an
|
||
|
|
RPC server in one command. The arguments have not been
|
||
|
|
changed from 3.x in order to preserve compatibility. This
|
||
|
|
procedure creates an RPC TCP server. If you need an
|
||
|
|
RPC server on another type of channel, you can use this
|
||
|
|
procedure as a template for writing your own.</p>
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
<ul>

<li><i>port</i> is the TCP port to use for the
|
||
|
|
RPC server.</li>
|
||
|
|
<li><i>loginFunc</i> is the procedure called when a client
|
||
|
|
connects to the server. Usually, this command checks for
|
||
|
|
necessary authorization. dp_CheckHost, which is provided
|
||
|
|
in the rpc.tcl library, is the default value.</li>
|
||
|
|
<li><i>checkCmd</i> can be used as a filter to check the RPCs
|
||
|
|
before they are executed.</li>
